Tim Cook: It's certainly no secret that Apple is a fairly profitable company, considering that next year it will reach $1 trillion, with its executives enjoying high compensation.
Living proof is Tim Cook, who according to a recent American survey received a compensation package of $102 million for 2017. It should be noted that Tim Cook receives a salary of $3.06 million, plus the various benefits to which he is entitled.
This money makes him, according to Apple policy, a high-ranking person who must use a private jet for all his business and personal travel. In short, the unfortunate Tim has no choice but to own his own plane since Apple's regulations require it.
In 2017 alone, Apple spent over $93,100 on Tim Cook's personal travel needs as well as nearly $225,000 on the CEO's personal security.
Tim Cook isn't the only Apple executive to make a fortune this year. The source cited says that Angela Ahrendts, Luca Maestri, Johny Srouji, Dan Riccio, and Bruce Sewell all made more than $24 million this year.
Apple is expected to reach 1 trillion next year, thanks in large part to its iPhone lineup, with the anniversary iPhone X expected to drive significant growth in the first quarters of 2018.
Finally, the company is rumored to be considering building two new models for the next generation including a more affordable version of the iPhoneX.
