Like every year, today YouTube shares with you the YouTube Rewind of the most popular music and top overall videos in Greece for 2017.
These lists take into account many factors, such as views and the number of shares, comments and likes made by Greek YouTube.
Taking a look at these videos, whether they are music or not, we notice the absolute dominance of “Despacito”, as the popular song by Luis Fonsi (which has exceeded 4 billion views worldwide) is at the top of the music list, while the Greek parody of “Thes Pastitsio” by So Tiri is at the top of the list of top videos.
Also noteworthy is the ranking of Greek artists, such as Marina Satti with "Mantissa", in high positions on the music list, as well as that of popular creators, such as Manos or 2J, on the list of top videos.
However, the top 10 music videos show the tendency of Greeks to support the domestic music industry. They never forget Pantelis Pantelidis, but, nevertheless, foreign hits are not lacking in their preferences.
With more than 1.5 billion monthly registered users, YouTube is the leading global destination for online video and the magnet for a generation that has grown up watching what they want, when they want, and on any convenient device
