The fact that Samsung has already started working with the new Galaxy Note 8 is not surprising, as some details about the upcoming phone have already emerged hinting at a dual-camera setup on the back. Now, DBS DESIGNING shared a video that gives us an idea of Samsung's upcoming tablet.
The Galaxy Note 8 will need to improve several things to ensure it can turn the rumors in favor of Samsung and restore consumer confidence in the Galaxy Note series after last year's disaster. Some information about the new phone has already emerged and the new concept video gives us an idea of the new device's potential.
The phone depicted in the video is purely fictional, but some details are based on previous rumors, such as the vertical dual-camera setup on the back. The device also appears to have almost inexplicable bezels on the side and an Infinity Display with the Samsung at the bottom.
The front panel is quite similar to the Galaxy S8, except for the fact that the Note 8 will be larger than the S8+, as the screen is rumored to be 6.4 inches and QHD+ resolution. It is interesting that the designer placed the power buttons and the volume down keys on the left side of the device and presented a metal and glass design.
The fingerprint scanner appears on the back of the Galaxy Note 8, in a very convenient location on the Galaxy S8. Let’s hope Samsung finds a solution before the Note 8 is launched and perhaps places the sensor under the display.
The concept video comes with some obvious specs for the upcoming device, including 6GB of RAM, 128GB of internal storage, a USB Type-C port, and a 4,000mAh battery. The dual-camera setup is 16MP and is located on the back, while the phone appears to come with an iris scanner on the front. A dual-camera setup is visible on the front, with 13MP sensors.
