Bug Alert! Do not install (manually) the Windows 10 Creators Update

Microsoft is warning about bugs in the new Windows 10 Creators Update and recommends that users not proceed with manual installation until the new update is automatically available on their system.

Windows 10 Creators Update

After about two weeks since the Creators Update, Microsoft still feels there is room for improvement. In a blog post, the company says it has begun receiving feedback from partners and customers about the new update, while also monitoring the Feedback Hub app, through which users can report potential Windows 10 issues.

Due to the large volume of negative feedback from users reporting hardware issues after upgrading to the Windows 10 Creators Update, Microsoft has decided to slow down the rollout of the update and block its automatic installation on affected devices.

As it reports through its official blog, several issues and bugs have already been reported by users, including a Bluetooth connectivity detected on computers using Broadcom hardware.

Therefore, the Creators Update has been temporarily blocked on devices that have this hardware or are experiencing other stability issues that Microsoft considers high priority.

Of course, users can still download the update manually, but Microsoft recommends that inexperienced users wait a little longer until any issues are resolved. Once they are resolved, the Creators Update will be made available to their devices through the automatic Windows 10 upgrade process.
