According to rumors circulating online, Microsoft is going to sign off Windows 10 build 14390 as the RTM build of the Anniversary Update. This marks the end of the development cycle of Windows 10 Anniversary Update, also known as version 1607 or Redstone 1.
The information comes from Zac Bowden, a former Winbeta journalist who now works at Windows Central.
Windows 10 build 14390 was released a few hours ago, and compared to the previous Windows 10 build 14388, it comes with only one known issue and does not contain any serious bug fixes.
Let us remind you that the Windows 10 Anniversary Update, according to the company's announcement, will be released for everyone on August 2, 2016.
After July 29, 2016, the free upgrade offer will stop and users of older systems will not be able to upgrade to Windows 10 for free. Of course (Microsoft permitting) the annoying notifications about the free upgrade offer in Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 will also stop.
