droidcon: Google Developers Thessaloniki, the only official Google Developers community in Greece, in collaboration with the Science Dissemination Center and Technology Museum of Thessaloniki 'NOESIS', are organizing for the first time in Greece droidcon, the largest Android conference in the world, from September 10 to 12, 2015 in Thessaloniki.
droidcon Greece will host developers-representatives of leading global companies, such as Google, Intel, JetBrains, Pollfish, Avast, etc., who will convey the latest developments in Android software, talk about innovative new technologies and share their knowledge with conference participants.
Droidcon is one of the largest global technology events, attracting hundreds of thousands of participants each year. It is organized by local partners and is made possible with the kind support of sponsors from major companies in the field, the media and a lot of volunteer work.
After very successful conferences around the world in cities such as Berlin, London, New York, Moscow and Dubai, Thessaloniki becomes the next destination to host this very important event.
During droidcon Greece, a series of parallel activities will take place, such as the droidcon Pitch Arena, the droidcon sandbox|expo and the droidcon4kids, for technology enthusiasts and "explorers" of future technologies.
These activities are organized in collaboration with GDG Thessaloniki, NOESIS, IEK DELTA, TIF-HELEXPO and other important public and private bodies.
