Droidcon Greece 2016 week has started in Thessaloniki! You are all invited from Thursday 7th to Saturday 9th July at Noesis to learn everything about Android at the international droidcon Greece event .
droidcon Greece welcomes to this year's event over 20 invited speakers and special guests from various parts of the world and from major companies such as Walt Disney , Spotify , Xing and Google and focuses on all the latest technological developments of the new version of Android " N ", which was just announced a few days ago as " Nougat " !
During the conference, Droidcon Greece 2016, among the leading Android Experts , hosts the following four keynote speakers on stage :

This year , droidcon Greece is pioneering and thanks to its great partners, it gives the general public the opportunity to attend, for free , a series of workshops as well as to get to know the developers and companies that will attend this unique conference up close in the sandbox ( pre-registration is required at the event venue to participate in the workshops & the sandbox ):
Barcamp , an interactive workshop , invites you on July 7 (19:00) at the main stage of droidcon to vote on which talks ( tech , inspirational talks ) , from a new group of developers who will present their work, you like and want to hear more about in the afternoon of the same day.
droidcon jobreloaded invites you to participate in a series of workshops it is organizing on July 8th and 9th , on advancing your career and how you can benefit from its global platform to find your next job. In addition, jobreloaded will refund you 20% of the value of your ticket to the droidcon Greece conference by submitting your resume to its platform.
Skywalker & Support Business is hosting an innovative and interactive workshop on “Employee Selection Interview” on July 8th (16:00) . This free workshop will be open to 25 participants. Register on July 7th at the Skywalker booth at Noesis.
Erasmus +ODedu+H2020OpenGovIntelligence are organizing the “Linked Open Data” workshop on July 9 (14:00) in which there will be an introduction to the use of open and linked data technologies and then, in collaboration with developers, the workshop will focus on the creation of prototype experimental applications.
Design Sprint and Hack product, on July 9 (15:30) the startup “Turnand” presents the technology behind its products and based on your comments, an interactive task will follow.
The Sandbox (informal expo) which will operate from July 7-9, is the meeting & networking space for businesses and developers, who have trusted droidcon Greece 2016, with the event's visitors. In this space, visitors will have the opportunity, through a relaxed atmosphere, to chat with leading developers and companies about all the latest developments, to network and exchange ideas.
The ELLAK Unit of Excellence of the Thessaloniki will also be present at the sandbox, which will surprise you with the unique workshops and demos it is preparing!
The Northern Greece Information Technology Business Association will share with us its vision and actions to promote the technology of Northern Greece and not only worldwide.
Don't forget to stop by the GDG Lounge, find out their latest news as well as what the developers of the official Google community in Thessaloniki, together with members of the Heraklion community, are cooking up for the upcoming season. Droidcon Greece 2016 opens its doors to everyone!
The general public will have the opportunity to attend the main hall of Droidcon Greece 2016 for the closing of this year's event on July 9th at 8:00 PM and participate in the super "Democamp" Show'n'Tell, in which Turnand will take us #backtothefuture to put the old beloved Game Boy back into our modern lives.
Droidcon Greece 2016 is not only an educational & informative event about Android, but a unique opportunity for those who love or work professionally with this dynamic operating system to network, meet great developers and companies from all over the world who have created very successful applications and become part of this global community.
