Droidcon Greece opens its conference doors to everyone on Saturday, July 9th at 7:45 PM (no ticket required for entry) to participate in the live connection with San Francisco via hangout and experience Speechless, the new trend in presentations!
Immediately following will be a "kick-off demo" by the startup Turnand from Thessaloniki that will take us all #backtothefuture.
The Speechless team , with backgrounds ranging from television production to stand-up comedy and experience in video game development, has entertained and trained some of the biggest and best companies in the world, helping speakers become more creative and persuasive when giving presentations using proven improvisation and comedy techniques.
Mr. Sammy, co-founder of Speechless, will present live, via a direct connection to America, to the droidcon Greece audience, what Speechless is, how it started, what the challenges are and the vision they have. In addition, during the live demo, a speaker from this year's Greece conference will be asked to come on stage and try it out!
What exactly happens in Speechless?
During Speechless, the performers on stage give a presentation in front of the audience which is something between karaoke combined with a speech!
Sounds boring? Don't worry! There are some very interesting facts!
Element N.1: The performers who will make the presentation will see it for the first time the moment they present themselves in front of the audience!
Element N.2: The topic of the presentation will be chosen at that moment randomly with the help of a spinning wheel! The images included in the presentation will have no relation to the topic!
Element N.3: The topic of presentations can vary from presenting an application, speaking about a wedding, reporting on a periodical exhibition, or even the first contact with an alien!
Item N.4: Performers can be engineers, managers, stand-up comedians and sketch performers. In addition, a volunteer from the audience with his own skills and with the help of perhaps a little alcohol goes on stage to try his hand at a similar presentation!

What exactly is Turnand's #backtothefuture demo?
Turnand is a startup from Thessaloniki that has created a revolutionary case for smartphones! This case inspired by the legendary Game Boy transforms the screen of the phone and gives us the opportunity to play our beloved game like before!
For the first time, Turnand will present its product, which will soon be released on the market, to the wider audience at droidcon Greece 2016 and will share its experiences with us!
