Easy way to Root LG G2, G3, F60, L90 and G Flex 2 on Android 5.0 Lollipop, ideal for novice users.
So, if you have upgraded one of the above LG devices to the new version of Android (5.0) and have not managed to root it, then the following method will definitely be useful to you.
The process will be done with a script that we will run on our computer, called LG One Click Root, which was created by avicohh and published in the Xda Developers community.
According to the developer, it works fine on many LG devices running Android 4.4 KitKat and Android Lollipop. Some of these include the commercial G2, G3, and the new LG G Flex 2.
Let's first see what we need to start the process,
- Download and install the LG driver on your computer (Windows only)
- Let's download the script
- Enable "Troubleshooting" on our device.
After successfully completing the three important steps above, we begin "rooting".
- We unzip the Scirpt that we downloaded to our computer.
- We connect our device to the computer via USB
- We run the file "LG Root Script.bat"
- Then we follow the instructions that appear on our screen.
