Huawei aglobal leader in providing information and communications technology (ICT) solutions, has been awarded the “European Consumer Smartphone 2014-2015” award by the European Imaging and Sound Association (EISA) for its latest smartphone, the Huawei Ascend P7. This is the second consecutive year that Huawei has been recognized by EISA, following the award for the ultra-slim Ascend P6 launched in June 2013.
The new 4G LTE Ascend P 7 redefines smartphone perfection and builds on the success of the Ascend P 6. EISA praised the Huawei Ascend P 7 for its “beautiful glass body, available in white and black, and attractive price” and highlighted its “dual cameras that enable high-resolution selfies with the 8MP front camera, while the rear camera provides a 13MP sensor with flash and app support.”

In less than two months since its launch in May 2014, the Ascend P7 is available in Europe, Asia and Latin America, having sold more than 2,000,000 devices in more than 70 countries.
In September 2013, the Huawei Ascend P 6 was named the " European Consumer Smartphone of the Year 2013 – 2014" and was described as a "surprisingly capable smartphone at a very competitive price". The Ascend P 6 is now available in over 100 countries with over 4,000,000 units shipped. Huawei is the world's third-largest smartphone vendor for the first quarter of 2014 and for 2013, according to Canalys , IDC , and Strategy Analytics, with the largest year-on-year growth compared to other category leaders.
