Samsung may unveil its Google Glass during the IFA in Berlin this September.
The device, to be called Galaxy Glass, will be able to connect to your smartphone, display call notifications and allow the user to listen to music, the Korea Times, citing anonymous Samsung executives.
The report doesn't reveal many details about the actual hardware, but it says that Samsung Electronics will partner with another Samsung subsidiary, Samsung Display, to create Galaxy Glass.
Samsung introduced a “wearable” device, the Galaxy Gear smartwatch, at last year’s IFA, and patented a smartglass-like device in October 2013, giving the report some credibility.
According to the Korea Times report, no immediate profits are expected from wearable devices for the company, but the steady release of similar devices shows Samsung's commitment to pioneering new markets.
