If we are to believe the recent rumors circulating around the internet, Snapchat is currently working on an official client for Windows phones.

In the meantime, though, Windows phone users only have one way to access Snapchat, and it's called Spectre.
So far, Spectre is the only Snapchat client available in the Windows Phone store, and for some reason it continues to exist, despite the fact that all other Snapchat apps have been removed, and users who turned to such solutions have had their accounts blocked.
Spectre, however, survives, and more importantly, it continues to receive updates on a regular basis.
The new update finally supports Snapchat Stories, so Windows phone users can finally post similar content, which is still one of Snapchat's core features on other platforms.
Some features are still missing from Spectre, like the ability to send chat messages, but in the meantime, the app comes with core features that no other client offers on Windows phones.
Spectre allows users to connect with their existing account, send and receive pictures and video messages, and send and accept friend requests.
The Spectre developer says it's also working on a bunch of new features, including notifications, support for Windows Hello (available on Windows 10 and also supported by new devices like the Lumia 950 and 950 XL), message history, and notifications.
