Taylor Swift's Twitter and Instagram accounts hacked

Taylor Swift

Popular country pop singer Taylor Swift was hacked last Tuesday by Lizard Squad – the hackers who recently broke into Sony's Playstation network and Microsoft's Xbox Live.

Hackers managed to gain access to the 25-year-old singer's Twitter account, asking her 51.4 million followers to follow the accounts @veriuser and @lizzard.

Swift confirmed that her Twitter and Instagram accounts were hacked on Tuesday afternoon, and that the posts published by the attackers were quickly removed from her social media pages.

The hackers not only claimed responsibility for the attack, but even threatened Taylor that they would reveal the nude photos, the existence of which the young singer denied.

“Are there hackers who say they have nudes?” Swift wrote when she rechecked her Twitter account. “Psssh you might like it! Have fun photo-shopping because you have nothing,” she continued.
