One day after declaring war on ISIS members, Anonymous has already managed to take over over 3,800 Twitter accounts associated with various ISIS members and their associates.

A day later, Anonymous took over 3,824 ISIS Twitter accounts

The hacktivism group quickly began the process, creating an official Twitter account for the overall #OpParis operation and a new website where they gathered all ISIS accounts.

In addition to searching for ISIS Twitter accounts, the hacking group has also opened up access to the website to anyone interested. Anyone who comes into contact with ISIS social media accounts can easily search the database and report any new terrorists and supporters.

The website is called #opIceISIS and indexes ISIS members based on their real name, location, image, and Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube accounts.

Before the Paris attacks, Anonymous had waged war against ISIS members following the Charlie Hebdo attacks earlier this year, during Operation #OpISIS.During that time, the group managed to take over tens of thousands of accounts.

With over 3,800 accounts in the first day alone, the group seems more determined this time to put a definitive end to the terrorist group.

Shortly before the Paris attacks, Ghost Security Group, another secretive hacking group, revealed that they had identified Bitcoin wallets containing more than $3 million / €2.8 million that led to known ISIS members.

With Anonymous ' latest additions to the database of known ISIS members, law enforcement and other hacking groups could be able to identify more accounts and disrupt the terrorists' activities.
