Apple makes Microsoft Windows logo more traditional

Apple and Microsoft seem to be the best of friends now after the latter participated in the launch of the iPad Pro and praised its productivity capabilities, but that doesn't stop them from poking fun at each other when there's a reason to.

Except Apple had no reason to poke fun at Microsoft 's Windows on its iCloud Calendar support page, where they replaced the operating system's logo with an image of a classic window. This little joke was spotted by a Hungarian website, which claims that the modified Windows logo has been there since May of this year, so this could be a sign that Apple may have no plans to change it anytime soon. Apple's trick can't even compare to some of the pranks that Microsoft itself has launched in the past against its Cupertino -based rival , and the first one that comes to mind is a September 2013 ad that was supposed to poke fun at Apple. At the time, Redmond launched an ad called "A Fly on the Wall in Cupertino?", which supposedly shows an Apple employee meeting where the company's employees were discussing plans for new mobile phones. One of them said that "We're going to give people what they want by giving them the finger," before another added "Touch ID fingerprint."Apple makes Microsoft Windows logo more traditional

Microsoft itself admitted shortly after that such an ad was “off limits” and decided to withdraw it completely, but that hasn’t stopped the company from making fun of Apple again in the future with ads opposing Macbooks or iPhones.
So, this time, Apple has stayed on its level and while it’s not really funny at all, it’s a stylish way to make fun of a friend. Or at least, that’s what Apple thinks Microsoft is. The Redmond, on the other hand, has yet to make a statement on the matter, so we’re expecting a response from it very soon.
