Galaxy Note 5: Confirms the end of the removable battery

Samsung Galaxy Note 5: Like it or not, we all knew it was going to happen one day. After Samsung ditched expandable SD storage and a removable battery on the Galaxy S6 , it was almost certain that these changes would extend to the Galaxy Note series . Some hoped that the company would find a way to keep the features intact for hardcore users, but as things stand and according to photos of the new Galaxy 5 Note published by Droid Life , that's not what happened.Samsung Galaxy Note 5

The photos reveal a larger version, designed in glass and metal, where Samsung has retained the slot for its signature S Pen stylus on the bottom left frame. The back of the phone appears to be slightly more curved than the Galaxy S6, but otherwise it's a more "phablet" version of the device.

Droid Life's sources report that the Note 5 has a 3000mAh , which is a concern for users since it is not removable so that it can be replaced - all hopes are focused on the company's presence in New York to see if it can somehow manage to pack it in - as well as the specifications we have already seen, 4GB of RAM and available in 32, 64 and 128GB.

If you're still desperate for what's been cut from the Note 5, LG still includes a removable battery in the G4 and Motorola's new Moto X will offer SD support, while Samsung has now officially moved away from both of those features.
