We have already received the researcher solutions for Pwnzilla 2 and the truth is that a very good job has been done so far. Today we quote the exclusive statements to Secnews from last year's grand winner of the first Pwnzilla, Evangelos Mourikis:

I'm all for competitions because some of them are quite realistic, giving you the opportunity to try and experiment in a controlled environment, learning something new every time.
Finally, I am preparing “Hacking is Art” presentations in collaboration with the IEEE SB of the National Technical University of Athens. Hacking is Art is an initiative of mine and concerns the presentation of projects and live realistic attacks in a controlled environment – capture the flags and will be open to everyone.
