New promising project after the concave screens from the hottest Korean smartphone manufacturer
The hottest Korean smartphone manufacturer, Samsung, is preparing a new promising project, after the curved screens. This time the screens will not only bend but also fold in half.
According to Samsung, it will manufacture approximately 40,000 devices by the end of 2015, while the first device with a screen that folds in half will be released early next year.
Samsung's Galaxy Note Edge, Galaxy Round, and LG G Flex have slightly tilted screens, which allows users to view their notes while the screen is closed, while with a more ergonomic design, they are easier to fit in a user's pocket.
Samsung claims that its new phones will have cutting-edge technology, but what the company needs to solve is, in addition to the foldable screen, how to make a... battery and a processor foldable.
