The free instant messaging service WeChat, which has been gaining popularity, has been upgraded to version 5.3.0.16. The updated app brings a brand new feature that allows instant message translation, thus bridging the gap between different cultures.
This way, users will be able to communicate with people from other countries, even if they speak a different language. All they need to do is type their message and the app will translate it.
WeChat supports English, Arabic, Chinese, French, German, Hebrew, Hindi, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, Thai, Turkish, and Vietnamese.
In addition to text messaging, WeChat also supports voice messages and video calls. Version 5.3.0.16 also offers other features, such as creating groups, adding tags to favorite messages for quick searches, selecting multiple messages, and adding to favorites.
