Windows Firewall Control has received a new update, version 4.0.2.8. The new version incorporates a new menu item, an updated set of command-line parameters, and some fixes.
The current version includes a “Reset sorting” option in the rules management menu. The purpose is to reset all settings to the default state.
The list of supported parameter commands has been updated and now includes options to clear user settings (“-r” or “-reset”), enter the Control Panel (“-cp”) or the Manage Rules window (“-mr”).
Among the fixes, a bug causing a malfunction in the Manage Rules screen is also addressed, which did not allow the recent status to be displayed correctly.
The same fixes also include changes to IPv6 address validation rules.
