In iOS 26.4, Apple added an Average Sleep Time to the Sleep section of the Health app, allowing users to better track how sleep time affects their sleep quality.

Under a new Sleep Highlight, Apple records the time you went to bed and the time you usually go to bed, based on averages over a two-week period.
In iOS 26.3, Apple displayed the average sleep time for the past seven days. This feature is still there, but it is now supplemented with a daily sleep time reading.
Apple has also updated the Vital Signs reading in the US, and now includes blood oxygen level in the line chart available each day. In iOS 26.3 and earlier versions of iOS 26, there was a section for blood oxygen level, but the chart did not include a blood oxygen measurement.

Blood oxygen was available as a separate measurement in the Vitals section, but is now visible in the Vitals overview. The Vitals feature did not fully support blood oxygen due to Apple's ongoing legal dispute with Masimo. Masimo accused Apple of infringing on its patents related to blood oxygen detection and secured an import ban from the U.S. International Trade Commission.
Apple had to remove blood oxygen detection from the Apple Watch by early 2024 in order to continue selling the Apple Watch in the US, but managed to bring it back in August 2025 with blood oxygen readings available only on the iPhone. There is still no option to measure blood oxygen with the Apple Watch and get results directly on the wrist in the US.
