IBM has developed a groundbreaking system that can accurately outline a person's personality after studying a certain number of that person's tweets Scientists can analyze our personality through our tweets

Researcher Michelle Zhou says it takes about 2,500 to 3,000 words for the algorithm to form an opinion about someone's personality.

As can be seen, this particular technology is intended for advertising purposes, since by outlining our personality, companies can "target" us more effectively.

As Zhou also says, “You can’t ask a customer to take a personality test in a store.” But salespeople would love to , since our personality has a significant impact on our decisions.

Although companies like Amazon do a good job of guessing what products someone likes from their previous purchases, the system that analyzes personality could offer great accuracy in understanding a potential buyer's.

Twitter offers the ideal field for such an analysis, since there is an abundance of the information required in a written psychological test.
