According to a video shared by a Reddit user who owns a Xiaomi with a Gemini Advanced subscription, it is now possible to share the phone's screen via Gemini Live and ask questions about it.

The integration is interesting because you can ask the AI technology about the content on your screen and have an extended conversation, with Gemini maintaining the relevant content.

For example, if you open Chrome, then visit Wikipedia and enable Gemini Live, you can ask Gemini to summarize what you see on the screen, via Astra. This means that if you browse the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) page on Wikipedia, you can use Gemini to summarize the numbers for you or explain key economic terms.

You can even ask it to read to you, or turn the page into a melody, or paraphrase it in a language of your choice. Gemini will understand the context, as it can track your actions with your phone.

Google previously said that Project Astra features in Gemini will only be available to Gemini Advanced, which start at $19.99 per month.
