Bard could become the ultimate AI assistant on phones, permanently replacing the old Google Assistant. Details of these changes come from 9to5Google, which spotted the new update in an app uploaded to the Play Store.
Just a few weeks ago, it was possible to see Assistant written in the app and even in the user. However, the report says that the latest update of the app itself shows Bard separately with no indication of Assistant anywhere in the code. Knowing Google and its habits, it is possible that Assistant will now give way to Bard as the company looks to redesign its AI on mobile devices .
Does this mean that Google is ready to abandon Assistant in favor of Bard from now on? The company hasn't officially spoken about these changes, at least not yet, so we'd rather wait for Google to confirm the upgrade and see if any new features make it to consumers.

One would say that with the ever-evolving ChatGPT now running on Android phones, it was inevitable that Google would look at Assistant with a new approach. Bard is likely the right direction for Google to take and allows its AI-centric plans to take shape.
The company has already decided to remove around 20 features from Assistant, which suggests that something is brewing behind the scenes at Google, and the latest findings confirm it. For all you know, “ Hey Bard ” could soon become the trigger for Android users who want to activate the AI-powered assistant.
Google Assistant can improve efficiency by automating everyday tasks. Using voice commands, you can set appointments, send messages, manage your emails, and control devices without having to spend time and effort.
Additionally, Google Assistant can improve efficiency by providing instant access to information. You can ask the Assistant for weather conditions, the latest news, navigation directions, cooking recipes, and more, allowing you to get the information you need quickly and efficiently.
