Unlike the “vanilla” S24 , Samsung ’s 6.8-inch behemoth , which launched in early 2024, failed to receive any permanent price cuts when the Galaxy S25 series was introduced last month, which seemed like a bad omen from the start. Since then, those who have been closely following the company’s official US website for any developments regarding the S24 Ultra’s availability have surely seen that the powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 unit with the S Pen is now sold out.

It appears that all color options, including the online-exclusive shades of green, blue, and orange, as well as the three available storage configurations, including the top-of-the-line 1TB model, are already sold out from Samsung's U.S. online store. While they haven't disappeared completely, they are marked as "out of stock" at the time of writing, and it appears this isn't a temporary shortage.
Samsung says the Galaxy S24 Ultra can't be manufactured "fast enough" to meet demand, as seen on the product's official website. However, this seems like an automated message that usually appears when a product is out of stock for various reasons.

It's unclear whether the reason for the Galaxy S24 Ultra's limited availability is more a strategic move by the manufacturer to limit production or a manufacturing issue. Of course, it could be a mistake and the phone could be back in stores soon, more powerful than ever. But who in their right mind would choose a Galaxy S24 Ultra that costs $1,300 or morewhen there's the new and improved Galaxy S25 Ultra that's priced at around the same?
