Spotify Daylist becomes available globally

Spotify is rolling out its feature “Daylist” globally , which was first launched in September last year.

Spotify Daylist is a personalized playlist that adapts to your listening habits throughout your day. Essentially, the list is constantly updated and changed throughout the day to keep up with your moods and activities.

The feature is available to all users (whether they pay a subscription or not). It was initially available in English-speaking markets and expanded to 65 more countries in March. But now, the company is adding support for 14 additional languages, making Daylist accessible in all markets where Spotify is available.

Daylist is now also available in Arabic, Catalan, French (Canada), French (France), German, Spanish (Spain), Spanish (Mexico), Portuguese (Brazil), Italian, Indonesian, Japanese, Korean, Polish and Turkish.

How does Daylist work?

Users can access the Daylist by going to Spotify’s “Made for You” section. According to the company, the playlist uses data from “niche music and microgenres” that users to at certain times of the day to recommend songs and update itself. The graphics for the Daylist also adjust throughout the day.

Individual Daylist playlists can be saved by tapping the three-dot menu, selecting “Add to Playlist,” and tapping “New Playlist.”

Daylists also includes a built-in sharing feature so users can share music on social media.
