To aid in his mission, Astro can utilize over 15 new abilities that offer unique play styles. As you would expect from an Astro game, these take full advantage of the DualSense controller, haptic feedback, and adaptive buttons to feel every little step along the way. Among the many new powers, you’ll find the Barkster, the Bulldog Booster that lets you air-dash and smash through enemies, metal, and glass, the Twin-Frog Gloves that offer a long-lasting punch and the ability to swing, and the Giant Sponge that lets you absorb water from the environment to grow and cause massive destruction. Combined with Astro’s improved controls, these new powers take Astro’s platforming experience to new heights while remaining accessible to everyone.
