WhatsApp users will soon be able to change the default chat theme color . The company has already started testing the feature on the iOS version of the app.
Chat themes have been mostly limited to regular mode and dark mode. However, WhatsApp will soon offer color themes that will also change the color of chat bubbles. The latest tests have been spotted in the beta version 24.11.10.70 for iOS, which has not yet been widely released.

Although the feature hasn't officially been released, WeBetaInfo gives us a glimpse of how the color change will work and where it will be available. First, the user will need to go to settings and go to the Chat. There, they will need to click on the Theme, where the app will display the default chat theme options.
The beta suggests that up to five colors will be offered. “By choosing a color, it will automatically become our default chat theme, adjusting both the wallpaper and bubble color accordingly in the future,” it states.

Changing the chat theme will only apply to your account. Chatters may have selected a different color on their device.
