If you didn't already know, you can play snowball fights while saving the galaxy from insects and robot soldiers in Helldivers 2. This feature has been in Arrowhead's game for a while now, but it's expected to go unnoticed with the constant war in the galaxy. But now, Helldivers 2 is obsessed with this snowball fight.

“Helldivers 2 players, avoid snowball fights. We are aware of an issue caused by picking up and throwing snowballs. We hope to fix this in the near future, but until then, we recommend that you avoid playing snowballs!” Arrowhead’s community manager wrote in an urgent message earlier today, clearly linking the issue to its root cause.

You can probably imagine how the Super-Earth soldiers to the news:
“What???? Is this how you're going to make me stop fighting for Democracy?” reads one comment on Reddit.
“Okay, MOM.” adds another.
“Headcanon: the snow in Vandalon 4 is toxic and makes Helldivers faint,” a very creative comment.
"If Helldivers faint on a hostile planet, they'll likely become food for insects."

Elsewhere in the Galactic War landscape, Helldivers 2's soldiers have new weapons to play with, including the long-awaited Heavy Machine Gun. Game Master Joel has seen fit to gift a brand new weapon to the soldiers of Super-Earth, and while it's not exactly the same highly anticipated vehicles that Helldivers 2 players were hoping for from a datamine, it's a very welcome bonus nonetheless.
