Sales of electric bicycles and scooters are increasing, and several countries are offering subsidies to get people out of cars and into more sustainable transportation solutions.

Much will depend on their quality and functionality, but it's nice to see an automaker like Honda introduce new products that hark back to the past while maintaining a solid foundation for the future.
Although the Motocompacto looks a bit odd, it has a lot to offer as an electric scooter. Its design is different, adding a dimension of fun to everyday commuting. It doesn't have a long range or run fast, but that's not a problem for commuting in urban centers.
