Korean automaker Hyundai announced that it has created an app for Google Glass that syncs with the Blue Link system that will be available in the 2015 Genesis.
The app will create cards containing vehicle information, tailored for the glasses, that users can browse through.
Push notifications will inform the driver if the car needs to go in for maintenance or to book an appointment for these maintenances.
The application will also be able to lock and unlock the doors, as well as send data from the mobile device to the car's processing unit.
The 2015 Hyundai Genesis is the first car to support such an application. However, the Korean automaker is not the first to come up with such an idea, as other manufacturers have also decided to implement connectivity tools between cars and wearable devices, such as smartwatches, etc.
