A new bug allows you to install Windows 11 without the multitude of unwanted bloatware programs that can complicate the process.

According to Windows Latest, when installing Windows 11, a blue screen with several questions. Here you can select the keyboard, input methods, and currency format, among other things. This is where you also select the region. If you select either “English” or “European English” as the region, Windows 11 will install without any pre-installed bloatware.

This is because a bug occurs in Windows 11 that prevents the normal installation process of the application. According to Windows Latest, the Windows 11 installer and Microsoft, which depend on the Internet, cannot change the language for English and European English.

Due to an error, the computer is having difficulty communicating with the servers during the installation of Windows 11 if the selected region belongs to these two. Although an error message will appear during the installation process, you can simply ignore it by clicking the “Skip” button.
Don't forget to change your region to the correct one after installing Windows 11! Otherwise, some services like the Microsoft Store may not work.

Microsoft confirmed to Windows Latest that it is aware of the issue and is currently investigating it further. It is not known when the bug will be fixed. However, it is likely to be fixed in the next Windows updates.
