Instagram has launched the Broadcast channel feature globally. Creators or users can use it to send messages to their followers. Broadcast channel participants can react or vote in polls, but they cannot reply to the manager or creator. Users can upload images, videos and audio to the site, while also providing text messages.

When a user creates a Broadcast channel on Instagram, their followers will receive a notification inviting them to join. Anyone can watch content , but only followers who subscribe will be notified of new posts. When you send the first message to your broadcast channel, your followers will receive a notification inviting them to join the channel.

Here's how to create an Instagram Broadcast channel on iOS and Android:
- Tap send or messenger in the top right corner of the feed.
- Click on the top right.
- Tap Create Broadcast channel. Enter a channel name. Choose an audience for your channel. Choose when your channel ends. Choose to have your channel appear on your profile.
- Click Create Broadcast channel at the bottom.
- You can find broadcast channels in the Instagram app by tapping Send or Messenger in the top right, then tapping Channels at the top.
- Invite others to join your channel
