After several leaks over the past few days, 2K has officially announced Lego 2K Drive, an open-world game that looks pretty cool. The game features co-op, multiplayer modes, and the ability to choose and transform from air to ground vehicles, Team Sonic Racing-style. The only downside? The collection of pre-order bonuses can be a bit confusing and you might need a chart to figure it out.

The trailer for Lego 2K Drive keeps the positivity of the Lego alive with two cheerful broadcasters narrating the plot. It's cute and funny, at first. Most of the trailer moves at a frantic pace as the driver speeds around a vibrant open world. You can build and customize your own Lego vehicle, which leads the trailer to show a vehicle that's shaped like a chicken.
It is a fact that after acquiring the game we will all start driving around in a cheeseburger vehicle and yes we will drift through the trees and we will be the main reason for deforestation in this innocent world.

The pre-order bonuses are a bit of a headache though. There's the classic edition that has the base game and costs €60 on PC, Switch, PS4 and Xbox One. The next-gen Xbox and Playstation have an increase that will go to €70. The Awesome edition is €100 and comes with a Lego season pass called the Year 1 Drive Pass and has extra vehicles and a minifigure. Finally, the Awesome Rivals edition which is €120 contains everything the other editions have plus content from four separate seasons of the Drive Pass since its release, with each one having new vehicles and themes.
If you're a fan of the colorful bricks in video game form, then Lego 2K Drive will probably be the only Lego game we'll see for a while, since TT Games has reportedly canceled many of its upcoming projects.
