Huawei has announced its new P60 series of devices with three entries. There's the basic Huawei P60, the Huawei P60 Pro, and the Huawei P60 Art, which has a more innovative design.
All three phones share the same internal hardware – a 6.67-inch LTPO OLED display with FHD+ resolution (1220×2700 px) and a 1-120Hz refresh rate. The panels are protected by Kunlun glass and have a built-in fingerprint scanner.
The cameras on the P60 series are their forte, so let's take a look at them together. All three phones have the same 48MP main camera with RYYB sensor and OIS. The sensor brings a ten-speed variable aperture of f/1.4-f/4.0 with automatic switching based on the scene.

This approach should capture the optimal amount of light, depending on the environment you're shooting in. Huawei's marketing praises the light-gathering capabilities of the RYYB sensor as industry-leading. The main camera also supports 4K video.
As for the ultrawide sensor – the P60 and P60 pro have the same 13MP with an f/2.2 aperture while the P60 Art has a 40MP with the same aperture. Next up is the telephoto lens, the P60 has a 12MP telephoto module with an f/3.4 aperture, OIS and a 125mm equivalent lens. The P60 Pro and P60 Art have fancier 48MP telephoto lenses with OIS and a 90mm equivalent lens capable of 3.5x optical zoom and 100x digital zoom.

The telephoto lens on the P60 Pro and P60 Art has an f/2.1 aperture, which should do a lot better at night shots than competing units from other manufacturers. Huawei says the new 48MP telephoto lens can capture the most light in the industry, which is a pretty bold claim. The sensor also features three-axis stabilization
The P60 series has the XD Fusion Pro texturing engine, which attempts to reproduce the textures of objects as closely as possible to the way the human eye perceives them.
The three models all have the Snapdragon 8+ 4G chipset - an LTE-only version of the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC from last year.
Another notable feature is the ability to send and receive Beidou satellite messages. If you don't have a signal you will be able to use it to send messages but it is limited to China only.
The Huawei P60 and P60 Pro feature 4,815 mAh batteries with 66W wired charging on the regular model and 88W on the Pro. Both versions also support 50W wireless charging. The P60 Art has a slightly larger battery capacity at 5,100 mAh and the cell is silicon-carbon, providing a higher energy density compared to its lithium-ion-based counterparts. All three phones run Harmony OS 3.1 out of the box and are IP68 rated.
The Huawei P60 and P60 Pro come in purple, black, and green, as well as a limited edition white. The P60 Art comes in blue and gold.
Prices for the P60 start at $657 for the base 128GB model and go up to $877 for the 512GB model. The P60 Pro starts at $1,023 for the 256GB model and $1,170 for the 512GB version, while the P60 Art comes in two versions – 512GB for $1,316 and a 1TB for $1,610.
Sales of the P60 and P60 Pro in China begin on March 30. The Huawei P60 Art will be available from April 7. International pricing and availability will be announced later.
