New Battle Royale game "Fall Guys" is imitating "Fortnite" to try to keep cheaters of the game. The new hit is facing such a big problem with cheaters that it's had to develop the same anti-cheat technology used by Fortnite.

“Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout” was released on August 7th and quickly racked up 7 million downloads on the PC game store Steam, while becoming the most popular game ever to come to PS Plus . The game’s format is a fighting game where teams of 60 people compete together in a virtual obstacle course, each controlling a jelly-like character.
With its huge success, it seems that the game has faced a problem with cheats from a large portion of users, with some players finding hacks to make their jellies run faster and jump higher.
"We're truly sorry about the cheating issue!" the official Fall Guys account tweeted on Sunday, detailing how corrosive the problem was to the game.
The tweet promised that the game is beefing up its cheat detection systems this week.
"We also have a big update coming in the next two weeks that adds the same anti-cheat system used by games like Fortnite," the account announced.
Fortnite uses two anti-cheat software systems: Easy Anti-Cheat and BattlEye. Epic owns Easy Anti-Cheat after purchasing it in 2018, and licenses the technology to other games. It's unclear which of these services will work for Fall Guys.

Since its launch in 2017, Fortnite has amassed 350 million registered users and now hosts professional tournaments with $30 million in prize pools. In the first round of the 2019 tournament, Fortnite banned over 1,000 accounts for cheating.
