Along with Windows build 19018 in the fast ring, Microsoft is bringing new search options to Windows 10 users. Here's what will change.
Microsoft has updated the search window, officially called “Search Home,” with a set of quick web links. Clicking on them will execute one of the following predefined search queries.
- Weather: View current conditions and the upcoming forecast
- Top News: Read the latest headlines from popular news sites
- Today in history: Explore four events that happened on this day
- New movies: Find out what's playing in theaters near you
To see the links above and their results, select the search box to open “Search,” then select one of the quick search buttons. You can also enter a query in the search box, on any topic you are interested in.
The new options are currently in the Fast ring and will appear to users running version 1809 through 20H1. They are currently only available in the US, but will be available internationally soon
