As you may have learned from previous posts, Microsoft distributes its latest operating system through the Windows Insider program. Those enrolled in the program can download all the latest builds of Windows 10.
However, the program offers the new operating system in two speeds. Each new build is first tested internally by the company, and if it passes the tests, it is made available to the public.
The new build is first appearing in the company's Fast ring, which developers usually choose to be the first to receive each update.
To distribute the build from the Slow ring, it has already gone through testing by thousands of users around the world, and Microsoft developers already have ready or almost ready the updates that resolve the problems that have appeared after the release of the version.
If you also wish to immediately download each new build, below we will present the steps you need to follow.
To begin with, you will need to sign up for Windows Insider and follow the process outlined by the company to install the latest build (if you do so now, the company will let you install Windows 10 Build 10074, which is currently being distributed from the Slow ring).
The version you can download after Microsoft's fast channel settings will be Windows 10 build 10122.
After installation, if you try to find the Windows Update icon in the control panel, you will be disappointed because… it is not there.
From the new menu, search for Settings (Windows 10 is not yet available in Greek)

The window will open with all the new settings

Open Update & Security and click on Advanced options.
In the window that opens down you will find the setting, from the drop down select “Fast.”
