Test Pilot: get Firefox Lockbox for iOS and Android Notes today

Test Pilot projects have so far only been available for desktop versions of the Firefox browser. However, it seems that the Mozilla Foundation is expanding the use of test applications to mobile devices. The new version of Android Notes for Firefox and Firefox Lockbox for iOS devices are proof of this.
Firefox Lockbox was released in 2017as an early alpha version and was a password manager. Lockbox replaced the old Firefox password manager.

The alpha version of Lockbox was quite functional but did not support importing or exporting passwords. It required a Firefox account for added security but lacked essential features such as auto-login or auto-filling user data in login forms.Test Pilot
The Mozilla Foundation released Firefox Notes in beta in July 2017 for Firefox running on desktops. It adds a basic note-taking feature to the browser. An updated version was released in April 2018, which supported many new features in notes.Test Pilot: get Firefox Lockbox for iOS and Android Notes today
The two projects above (Lockbox and Notes) were therefore released as standalone apps for iOS and Android, and not as browser extensions.
Lockbox is the first Test Pilot for Firefox on iOS devices. Lockbox syncs passwords with desktop versions of Firefox and supports Face ID and Fingerprint touch to lock and unlock the app.
Firefox Lockbox requires a Firefox account. It is a standalone app, not an extension for Firefox, and is only available in select countries (United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand).
The Mozilla Foundation is reportedly developing an Android version of the app.
Notes now comes as a standalone app for Android devices. Users can download and install the Notes app from the official Google Store to keep their notes in sync between Firefox installations on other devices.
You can write notes on Android and sync them with your desktop to read your desktop notes from your Android device.
How to get the apps?
Visit the official Firefox Test Pilot website . The Lockbox and Notes apps can be found on this page. Firefox Lockbox is offered as an iOS app that you can install from the Apple Store, while the Notes app (Secure Notepad App) is available on Google Play.
Both require a Firefox account and Firefox Sync.
