iOS 13 lets you choose which apps track your location

iOS 13 apps location

Apple has just released its new operating system, iOS 13, which it also announced at WWDC. Always faithful to its ideology around privacy, the company has added an additional feature to its new operating system, which will allow users to access all location tracking data.

In other words, iOS 13 will allow users to view data in the form of a map, which will inform them of all the apps that have tracked their location, according to a report from 9to5Mac.

The report shows an image of an App Store app, where a pop-up message contains a map with all the data. In addition to that, the message shows two options that let you decide whether you want to share your location with the apps.

Even though we are still not able to see exactly what the map shows, the three options provided are clear and are as follows: “Allow during app use”, “Allow once” and “Do not allow”.

As a reminder, the pop‑up message appears only when the “Ask” option is enabled for a specific app.

This new feature was created to give users the ability to know how and where applications are detecting location and thus be able to choose which of them they will allow to detect their location.

Additionally, the new iOS 13 has included in its apps the “Find My” feature that allows you to track your device even when you are offline, with added privacy. Other features that come with the new operating system are Dark Mode, Sign-in with Apple, Swipe Typing, performance improvements, and many more.
