Google Maps ' high-tech tracking devices capture images of locations to help plan safe and smooth routes – but their own journey isn't always as simple as it seems. New images have revealed a hilarious blunder that a camera suffered on its latest trip. It was sent to an idyllic road in North Carolina, USA, to capture images of a tree-lined road. The pretty road, lined with bungalows on one side, initially looked very pretty.
A row of flowering trees on the other side made the photos seemingly perfect.
However, the "drama" began when the camera, instead of capturing the trees, got caught in the tangled branches of one of them, resulting in its lens being filled with ferns and branches!

Thus, accurate geographical depictions of the road were not obtained.
It is not known if the tracking device suffered permanent damage.
It is believed, however, that it was sent again on another date, perhaps with a new route, in order to complete the work.
Meanwhile, it's not just Google's devices that can face difficulties, as its staff can also encounter problems.
Images captured by the camera show one of the Google Maps drivers in confusion after being forced to get out of his vehicle, which was parked outside a garage, to figure out exactly where he was.
The man appears to be wearing a suit and glasses as he stopped his vehicle on the side of a road in Canada.
In the photo, there appears to be another car nearby, but its driver offers no assistance to the Street View driver, who is confused and trying to determine its location.
Instead, the images show him standing alone and taking his phone out of his pocket, proving that he's just like the rest of us! He goes into the map app to get a clearer indication.
