If you own a Samsung Galaxy Note 9, then you know how easy it is to activate the Bixby digital assistant.
The device has a particularly sensitive button, so it is very easy for someone to accidentally press it, causing irritation to the user. So if it is not disabled, you will not be able to avoid this irritation at all.
And while Samsung could have made it possible to disable the button or at least set it to perform a different -more useful- function, the company claims that it's not that easy to accidentally activate Bixby.
However, the company has decided to help the situation a little. Essentially, you will now need to double-press the button to activate Bixby. This feature is not enabled by default, so you will need to enable it yourself.
To do this, open Bixby and then tap on the three-dot symbol in the top right corner. Go to Settings and then look for an option called Bixby button. Open this section and you should find a new setting called “Double tap. Just select it and you’re good to go!
