While Apple is doing very well in selling MacBook Pros and iPhones, the MacBook Air computer hasn't been able to get enough recognition in recent years.
However, now, a Bloomberg suggests that Apple is planning to release a low-cost 13-inch MacBook Air, which will feature a retina display and thinner bezels.
The MacBook Air hasn't received a major update in more than five years. While its internals have changed little, the $1,000 laptop still has a low-resolution display while other products from the company have already received a Retina display.
This case is similar to the standalone Mac Mini desktop computer, which hasn't received a refresh since October 2014.
However, Apple plans to improve the $499 device with new storage and processor options. The Mac desktop will be more focused on professional users, which means we may see a price increase.
Again, Apple's desktop doesn't include a keyboard or mouse. That said, it's always a popular choice among app developers and server administrators.
Apple is expected to hold its iPhone event next month, where we will see many exciting products.
The Mac series, on the other hand, will follow after the iPhone's launch, as has been seen in previous years.
