Windows 10 April 2018 Update: Bug found that was also present in the Fall Creators Update

It's no secret that the Windows 10 April 2018 Update was a bit buggy, with many wondering how Microsoft allowed an update to be released that had so many pending issues.

It's time, however, to learn another detail that we won't particularly like. The new update also includes a bug that was already detected in the previous version. In short, Microsoft didn't fix it in its new update.

Specifically, many users are complaining that some icons on the taskbar are not displaying correctly due to a bug that was also present in the Fall Creators Update.

For some strange reason, clicking the buttons that show hidden icons reveals a surface behind the taskbar with only a limited number of icons. The only way to see all your icons is by enabling them on the taskbar. Update

A quick but temporary way to fix the error is to restart the system.

The only thing that is certain is that users are becoming increasingly frustrated with the Windows 10 April 2018 Update bugs. When Microsoft takes a long time to fix them, the situation becomes very annoying.

Microsoft , for its part, confirmed that it is investigating the issue and will provide us with more information when the appropriate patch is found. We hope it will not be delayed .
