Here's why users don't part with Windows 7 so easily..

Although Windows 10's market share is increasing day by day, it still hasn't managed to surpass its biggest rival, Windows 7. In other words, Windows 7 is still the number one choice of users.

As we have mentioned several times in the past, this trend is quite worrying for Microsoft as the more users choose an older version, the more difficult it is for the giant to achieve the goal it has set for Windows 10.

Of course, the most worrying thing about the case is that when the company ends support for Windows 7, all users who have the operating system will be exposed to attacks.

The question that arises is this: Why do users stay on an older version when the latest one has so much to offer?

Windows 7

The answer is very simple. Users don't need or believe anything more than what Windows 7 offers.

Most home users are interested in basic functions such as browsing the web, accessing emails, movies and music. So Windows 7, while lacking the advanced functionality of Windows 10, serves this purpose perfectly.

Obviously the company must have a reason for insisting so strongly on the upgrade. The reason is none other than the lack of security in Windows 7.

It's clear that Windows 10 is the safest option and comes with technologies that protect users. Of course, to be objective, we must mention that Windows 7 is not the most vulnerable platform, so third-party applications, such as Google Chrome and antivirus apps, can help improve security.
