Blue Whale: The latest victim of the dangerous online game “Blue Whale” is a twelve-year-old girl from Radka, Ukraine. The unfortunate Anastasia Kysluk was found dead in the house where she lived with her grandparents in the village.
According to a police investigation, the young girl was receiving instructions from a "leader" who, with slow and torturous steps, led her to death.
It should be noted that a few hours before her death, Anastasia was watching videos online of people hanging themselves.
The strange thing about the case is that the girl did not show any worrying changes in her behavior during her involvement in the deadly game. A classmate, in fact, stated that Anastasia had contacted him the night before her suicide, asking him about the lessons for the next day.
Unfortunately, the online game “Blue Whale” has claimed another victim with no sign that this scourge is about to end. The game consists of fifty stages in which teenagers obey the orders of a superior. The challenges they are asked to carry out include self-harm, watching horror movies, staying up all night and, finally, suicide.
It made its debut in 2013 in Russia but has since taken on a global dimension.
In Greece, the most recent victim of the “Blue Whale” was a 16-year-old teenager from Pieria who was raped by her father for 6 years. According to police information, the 16-year-old had scratched her body with a razor and taken pills, following instructions from unknown interlocutors, during this “game”.
