Adding to Amazon’s growing lineup of Alexa-enabled devices, iHome this week introduced a new outdoor smart plug that comes with Alexa built-in and is supported by Google Assistant and Apple’s HomeKit technology. The iHome iSP100 Smart Plug is priced at $40 and is specifically designed to be durable and withstand the elements. The expansion of the iHome SmartPlug line allows users to control outdoor lighting, decorations, and best of all, the wireless smart plug requires no hubs or monthly fees to operate.
The company also introduced a trio of Wi-Fi-enabled, battery-powered smart home sensors, but none of them support HomeKit. Unfortunately, no information has yet been leaked on pricing or global availability for the new iHome sensors, but as soon as information comes to light, we'll keep you updated as always.
