With Google Earth VR you can visit any part of the world through virtual reality. Now you can combine it with Street View.
Whether you want to walk along the canals of Venice, or stand on top of Kilimanjaro, and you can't do it for various reasons, virtual reality is here to give you a pretty good feel for these tours.
If you like this feeling, we inform you that Google has brought Street View to Earth VR (virtual reality) so you can see all parts of the Earth even better.
The new update lets you explore Street View imagery from 85 countries directly in Earth VR. Simply hover over the street level and check on your controller if Street View is available to insert a stunning 360° photo.
You'll find photos from the Street View team as well as those shared by users around the world. The new version of Earth VR is available today for the HTC Vive and Oculus Rift. And if you don't have one of those systems, you can still see Street View in VR on your phone by simply downloading the Street View app for Daydream and Cardboard.
