A new updated version of Firefox 55 has just been released. Firefox version 55.0.3 is based on Gecko 55 and brings improvements to the stable version 55 released on August 7.
For now the new updated version has not been officially announced.

It is worth mentioning that the Mozilla Foundation with this version of Firefox allows multiple content processes to run for the majority of eligible systems. As we mentioned in a previous post, newer versions of Firefox, such as versions 55 and 56, bring significant improvements in speed and memory usage, with significant benefits for users who open multiple tabs at the same time.
