The new version of Firefox 55 final has just been released. Version 55 of Firefox is based on Gecko 55 and comes with many improvements, which you can read from the link at the end of the post.
At present, the new version has not been officially announced.

It is worth mentioning that the Mozilla Foundation with this version of Firefox allows multiple content processes to run for the majority of eligible systems. As we mentioned in a previous post, newer versions of Firefox, such as versions 55 and 56, bring significant improvements in speed and memory usage, with significant benefits for users who open multiple tabs at the same time.
